Dengan nama Allah, Yang Maha Pemurah, lagi
Maha Mengasihani.
Katakanlah (wahai Muhammad): Wahai
orang-orang kafir!
Aku tidak akan menyembah apa yang kamu
sembah.
Dan kamu tidak mahu menyembah (Allah) yang aku
sembah.
Dan aku tidak akan beribadat secara kamu
beribadat.
Dan kamu pula tidak mahu beribadat secara
aku beribadat.
Bagi kamu agama kamu dan bagiku agamaku.

Nor will ye worship that which I worship.
And I will not worship that which ye have been wont to worship,
Nor will ye worship that which I worship.
